Yoga for Hamstrings
Celeste includes exercises for the neck and shoulders in this video. Neck and shoulder tension is often related to tight hamstrings. Tight hamstring muscles can pull down on the pelvic floor causing a tilt of the pelvis and low back, causing the upper back to compensate by rounding the shoulders forward. By releasing the shoulders and upper back, you will feel the entire spine lengthen and this can assist your low back and hamstrings to lengthen. To round out this hamstring routine, Celeste demonstrates spinal twists and other poses that help the entire posture.
