Description of classes
Yoga Strength Class
A vigorous class dedicated to increasing your muscular strength and endurance (no dedicated cardio component). Standing strengthening poses, squats, core exercises, arm, legs and good ole booty exercises with high reps to get your heart rate up. All levels, you don’t need to be fit, as I will provide alternatives for all movements. The class is friendly, inspiring, and helps you dedicate to the strengthening aspect of yoga.
An intermediate class focusing on increasing mobility and strength of the spine, core, overall balance, and flexibility. Breathing exercises to enhance a peaceful state will help you regulate how you feel and sense an inner mastery over emotions.
Hatha & Restorative
We begin with poses to warm-up the spine, hips and low back. We continue with core strengthening and balance exercises. We transition into reclining poses to relax the body, lengthen the spine and open the hips. We taper the class off with breathing exercises (pranayama).
This is the class that is dedicated to alleviating stress and lengthening the spine. Most poses are done in a reclining position. Deep breathing and hands-on adjustments help you let go. Come to exhale and release tension.
Ashtanga and Hatha
A vigorous class with vinyasa flows to increase muscular endurance and strength. Standing poses, balancing poses, and inversions, and core strength are developed through specific instruction and hands-on support.
